The prosecution commenced on the 14th instant before one of the Police Magistrates on a charge of misconduct as Police Constables, under section 15 of Ordinance 9 of 1862, the punishment for which offence is a penalty not exceeding $200 and in default of payment imprisonment not exceeding 6 months, with or without hard labour.
