With reference to your No. 59833/75 of the Office of the Secretary of State for the Colonies,
I am directed by the Secretary of State for War to transmit to you, for the information of the Governor of Hong Kong, a copy of a despatch from the Governor of Hong Kong, forwarding a further memorial from Major General Sorders regarding his military pension.
I am to inquire whether a decision has been come to on the general question referred to in June, and whether the latter above-mentioned case can now be dealt with.
