Force and also to provide accommodation than at present exists. I agree however, with the
Committee in
thinking that, if the proposed change in the law should be sanctioned, and the
reductions in Gaol diet which have been recommended be
carried out at the same time,
a sensible decrease
there would be
in the amount of crime in the
Colony.
