With regard to Wharry's excuse for not attending at the hour at which he is summoned, even if it were true that the Coroner were late himself sometimes, it would form no excuse for a witness being late when the Coroner was in time, and the Court would not accept in extenuation of a witness's non-attendance the excuse that the Coroner was late.

Submitted. This is a further complaint against one Wharry whose salary was recently increased by the Secretary of State in consideration of his performance of the duty which he apparently endeavours to avoid.

From previous experience I thought that very likely the Judge of fact would be late.
