It grants power to the Governor to allow
1. Processions of Music in the city of Victoria,
2. The erection of cloth covered sheds or decorations,
3. The discharge of fireworks, and also regulates Theatrical performances.
It repeals so far as it relates to religious Ceremonies or entertainments, sec. 22 of Ordinance 8 of 1858 which requires written licences under the hand of the Governor for certain public meetings or for religious or theatrical entertainment,
WoTH of 1845 sec. 2 of subsec. 12 which relates to blowing any trumpet or beating any gong etc.
No 10 of 1872 Sec. 2, subsec. 1 which enacted a penalty of $25 against any person wilfully setting fire to any cracker or firework without previous permission.
