I am master of the lodging house On Li, Boarining tunne, fimman's Bazaar. I know the detective Li Fan by sight. I do not know his number. It is the head of the man on branch Srina Society. I have carried on my boarding house business for one year. About the middle of the year, he sent several men to my boarding House, and asked for $100 dollar which I paid. The second time, about the middle of the 3rd month, he sent ten men and demanded $200 dollars... I did not pay him. $200 dollars has been demanded twice since then, but I did not pay. Many of the inmates of the boarding house people have been squeezed. I am of the opinion that the result of this squeezing has been to make people join...
