Must it was the intention of the Government to resume and take possession of the Lane and grounds that see Gfile stim had died necessary to relet the premises on the arut it was under a new License.
On the 30 November we wrote fully to you asking for investigation and we wrote to the Acting Registrar General informing him of our action asking him to respond to your letter and to refrain from taking any further action until a reply was received.
On the 1st December last we attended personally on the Acting Registrar General and tendered $20, the rent for Western & Market for December, which was refused, and we immediately wrote confirming what had been done and claiming the tenancy.
He again wrote on the 5th December, again refusing to accept the rent which we offered.
