therefore constrained to pray Your Honour will transmit this petition to H.E. the Governor requesting His Excellency to inform them in writing on an early date the Cause of the delay; so that they may put this matter in the hands of a barrister, who will either petition the Legislative Council or the Chief Justice to settle it; in order that the Land may be delivered to them early date and that they may commence business.
