We desire to draw your especial attention to the fact that corporations and other municipal authorities who have the letting of stable markets in all parts of England grant formal leases and never turn out or increase the rent of their tenants as long as they conduct themselves and their business in a proper manner.

Our client most respectfully submits that he has not acted in such a manner as to justify his ejection from the premises resulting in the complete destruction of his business. He most humbly begs that after a careful consideration of all the facts and circumstances of the case, an equitable view may be taken. He also wishes us to add that seeking our advice, he has only sought to represent the case more placidly to you and not in the least to oppose the Authorities.
