I submit that this is a case which ought to be left to be "fought out before the Supreme Court, as recommended by Mr. Ackroyd. Memorialist is not a poor man who is unable to take proceedings to defend himself, - I am sure that the able Solicitors who are acting for him would have instituted proceedings against Government, if they thought there was any chance of succeeding.
