3. As regards the first subject (CA), M. Deane, whose views are totally opposed to those of the Government, including both the Attorney General, Mr O'Malley, and the Acting Attorney General, Mr. Ackroyd, has addressed a separate Memorial to Your Lordship, which I have dealt with in another despatch. An No 190 of despatch I need not therefore refer further to this matter here.
