was amended by Ordinance 13 of 1885 which directed theek if the applicant did not reside in the Colony the application should be transucitted through the Secretary of State cond callowed parties resident or having their principal place of breveness in the Colony to apply diver
to the Governor.
The
present Ordinance abolishes 13 of 1885 and amends Section III of
Ordinance 1 of 1871 by giving -

applicants the option to make their application either direct to the Governor or to transmit it through
Secretary of State .
