Notice for the "London Gazette."

HER Majesty's Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs has received a communication from the French Ambassador, to the effect that a Treaty of Peace having been signed between France and China on the 9th instant the French Government, without awaiting the ratification of the Treaty, have issued orders to the Commander of the French naval forces to raise the blockade of the coasts of China, and to cease exercising the right of visit on the high seas for contraband of war; whereby trade in the Eastern Seas under all flags is re-established under the same conditions as before the outbreak of hostilities.
