6. At all General Meetings ten shall constitute a quorum. There shall be a General Meeting each year in the month of July for the purpose of electing a now Committee, investigating the financial state of the Association and operations of the past year.

7.-Subject to the approval of H.E. the Governor, the Com mittee is authorised to make, alter, or expunge any rule decmed advisable on behalf of the Association.

8.-Members are to be careful in their treatment of natives and their property, so as not to bring the Association into dis- repute. Any Member offending in this respect his conduct will be taken cognizance of by the Committee and dealt with as they may think advisable.

9. Any infringement of these Rules will be taken cognizance of by the Committee and treated as the members of it deem proper ; the power of expelling any member being vested in a general meeting, and a majority of two-thirds being required for expulsion.

SHOOTING RULES.

1-Shooting shall commence ou 1st September in each year, and terminate on 28th February,

2. Members wishing to shoot on a certain day must send their names to the Secretary, from whom they will receive a ticket which must be handed to the keeper. The Committee shall from time to time regulate the shooting over the different beats, the number of guns, etc.

3.The ground will be divided into three beats, which will be shot over alternately. Members are particularly requested to observed this Bule in fairress to the game,

4. No hen pheasants are to be shot, except by permission of the Committee.

5.---The allowance of beaters with be two to each gun, but the total number is not to exceed six,

6. Every day the keeper will receive a ticket (Rule 2), from each member of the party as a guarantee that he belongs to the Club.

7. No member shall be allowed to be booked for more than one day at a time, and tickets are not transferable.

PERMISSION

TO SHOOT AND TAKE GAME

GRANTED BY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL

Under the provisions of Ordinance 15 of 1885.

Thereas a Game Association has been formed consisting of certain persons and

governed by certain rules (as herewith).

Now permission is hereby granted to the said persons, and all other persons

from time to time being Members of the Association to shoot and take game and wild birds within that part of the Island of Hongkong, known as the Eastern portion thereof, bounded on the West by a line drawn from the Shaukiwán Road at the Western end of Quarry Bay to the Wongneichung Gap, and from thence following the Little Hongkong Road to the end of Deep Bay,--more particularly delineated on the plan hereunto annexed and shewn thereon in Red, Green, and Yellow.

This permission is

subject to the following conditions:-

1. The permission shall be void if any change is made in the rules of the Association without

the approval of the Governor in Council first obtained.

2. The permission shall be void as to any individual so soon as he ceases to belong to the

Association.

3. This permission is valid for

years from the

day of

188 but subject to the right of the Governor in Council at any time to revoke, add to, or amend these conditions or any of them, and subject to the payment of $10 by the Association in respect of every person who is or has been a Member or Subscriber of the Association during the current year.

Any such revocation, addition, or amendment shall be deemed to be one of the conditions of

this permission so soon as it is published in the Government Gazette.
