(1) That the regulations made by the Governor in Council on 14th ___ January last, and forwarded to the Secretary of State for early approval (by telegram if possible) by the Governor's despatch N.11 of 15th January 1884, should be promulgated without further delay.

(2) That the new scheme proposed by the Asting Captain Superintendent of Police, which involves a smaller expenditure than the one

already voted by the Council and approved by the Secretary of State, should be

submitted

submitted to the Finance Committee.

(3) That if it be approved by the Finance Committee, every endeavour - should be made immediately and without waiting further reference to the Secretary of State, to get the

men to subscribe to the conditions vir. abandonment of privilege of remitting at 4/2, and of privilege of retiring

on a pension without medical certificate before completion |

of 15 years service.
