The duties actually in force under various Ordinances are unconnectedly scattered about. The Ordinances have been readjusted to correct the incidence of certain duties which have been found to be irregularly distributed. More specifically, the duties on Bills of Exchange and Promissory notes have been entirely re-arranged. The duties on legal documents have been increased to compensate for the reduction made under this head, a minor adjustment.
3. Other alterations of a minor kind (such as the arrangement of the Schedule in alphabetical order) have been made.
