PARTICULARS of the Office now vacant at the Public Works Department in the Colony of Hongkong.
1. Duties of office, and qualifications required for their performance.
Supervision of private buildings and private works in the Colony. A knowledge of Civil Engineering and some acquaintance with land Surveying required.
2. Salary and emoluments, and whether secured by a permanent law.
$1440 per annum
$30 a month - Allowance for quarters.
$18 a month Chair allowance.
