With reference to the Secretary-General's telegram of the 359 instant as on this file regarding an amount of indebtedness to the Crown, I am happy to be able to report that during the past twelve months all public funds have been gradually withdrawn from that Source, the withdrawal having been begun even before the Government telegraphed home for a remittance in anticipation of needs. The last amount, $90,000, was drawn some weeks ago, a little before the due date, in consequence
