RECR
REGE 5 JUN 342
General on Ordinance No 12 of 1884.
I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, being an Ordinance entitled "The Post Office Ordinance, 1884", and am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's Instructions.
This Ordinance is little more than a reproduction of the Post Office Ordinance, 10 of 1876, with a few amendments. Upon the recommendation of the Postmaster General, and for the sake of convenience, it was thought better to re-enact that Ordinance than to leave it standing and amend it by a separate Ordinance.
