I forward also copies of the Address in reply to my speech, which was unanimously voted by the Council, having been proposed and seconded by two Unofficial Members (Mr. Ryrie and Mr. Sassoon). This address shows the views entertained by the Council on my proposals, and the cordial relations existing between the Governor and the Colonial Legislature. It will be seen that the concluding paragraph is as follows:-
