(3) A Statement by the Auditor-General showing the Estimated position of the Colony at the end of 1883. This statement is based upon ascertained Receipts and Expenditure in the Colony during the year and in England up to 30th November.

The Crown Agents' expenditure for December, not being known, has been estimated. It is probable therefore that this statement will not differ very much from the final one that will be made up when all external accounts have been received.
