His duties will comprise the supervision, under the direction of the Surveyor-General, of the upkeep and repairs of the Government buildings in the Colony and the charge of any buildings that may hereafter be erected. He will have to make periodical examinations of all Public Establishments and prepare detailed Reports of their condition together with necessary estimates of the cost of the Repairs.
