I have received your Despatch No. 69 of the 24th March, recommending a pension of $227.50 for John Cleaver, Chief Inspector of Nuisances.
I have sanctioned the draft pension of £227.50 per annum as per the Paper of 29/6/53. Particulars state that Mr. Cleaver's age is 33 and that his retirement is caused by bad health, but he is unfit for further service.
