to be laid before the Earl of Derby, for His Lordship's information, a despatch from Her Majesty's Agent and Consul General at Bangkok, inclosing a Petition which has been addressed to him, and to which are attached the signatures of fifteen persons engaged in the Spirit Trade who appear to claim a right to British protection.
Mr. Palgrave's despatch and its inclosure being sent in original, it is requested that they may be returned to this Department.
