If the report of those whose report are already in the possession of the Government has pointed out, as quoted by Sir George Bowen in the 3rd paragraph of his despatch of August 25th, that not only would the extension have a very beneficial effect upon the health of the troops, but also afford greater facilities than now exist for meeting much needed Military and Naval requirements.
