Jay master of the Buffs reports that he has not been able to obtain Banks dollar for uote Love the the payment of Troops for really twelve & months. It is stated that the Commissional Officers and men frequently lose by the silver Dollar, the Chinese reverse in many instance to the fire value.
There sank will not be permitted by the Secretary of State, and the remedy appears to be for Government to issue sufficient number of roles and to e alt of w there upon the Hongkong and Shanghai Bank to withdraw from circulation those which have been issued by it. it. I am of opinion.
