Observatory, I think it right to add that you are not~ in a position to measure the relation referred to between her and him.
In paragraph 220 of your despatch No. 308 of the 22nd November, it is stated that she is a person of notoriously immoral character. I should be willing, since she assists de Doberck in taking observations and in the management of Observatory instruments, to sanction the assignment to her of a moderate allowance. Should you hold it fit to propose her for the purpose, but it appears that you are not in a position to do so.
