The Acting Governor considered the Banks entitled to reasonable police, this is indefinite. I think it satisfactory of Wesel 12 taled what motive fin considers reasonable.
The Acting Governor is adverse to remitting its Surplus to the Colony. EW 3.7 we had better say that he should gradually withdraw and remit back for investment the money deposited with the Chartered Mercantile as well as that in the Colonial Bank and now in the deposits in the four other banks pro Expenditure, Mr Meade -SP PPR my RM 18/12.
Funds to this country for safe custody, apparently alarmed as the acting rates, but the low value of the dollar cufflinks the question, because the safe custody of public funds should be the first consideration and it should be remembered that if a dollar will purchase only 3/9, sterling will purchase a dollar, so what is called the loss on exchange should not perhaps I recur to the rate for back to the story 3/12.
