Hantess Chinese School should receive notice before the close of this month, that the Government will not require after October next those rooms.

5. Mr Wong Kun-nian, the Minor Teacher of the Normal Class of the Government Central Chinese School, salary thirty dollars $30 a month, having given a month's notice, would receive five dollars $5 and be relieved to his post at the Government Mantri Chinese School at twenty-five dollars $25 a month from November.

6. By the return of Mr Wong Kun-nian to his former post the following transfers would naturally result (Vide 2nd para infra).

Mr Wong Conting, Principal, will revert to Shek K&' while Mr ng tenn will take his post. I have to seek some post for Mr Wong as he held before his appointment in 1881, as teacher of some native schools. These changes should take place on November 1 and require a month's notice.

7. The School Servant who is under the authority of the Principal should be dismissed on September 30th.

8. It is a matter of serious importance how to provide for the Principal Mr. May, who was formerly at the Central School.
