4. With regards to Bishop Raimondi's further request for an increase of the building grant from $5000 to $10,000, you will remind him that the maximum allowed by the Code must not exceed one half the actual outlay; but in consonance with the recommendations of yourself & your Executive Council, & of the Governor in the same affairs, which is done by the College & the Schools in connection with it.
I am inclined to approve the increase to $6000 as you suggest. I have done so.
