Sends letter from Mr Price suggesting that Dr Doberck should establish relation with other centres of observation along the coasts of China and the Phillipine Islands. Considers that Dr Doberck should adopt this proposal.

Dr Doberck (in parag. 10 of 6624) alluded to the desirability of arranging for meteorological observations on the Coast of China, so that he will not be likely to raise objection to Mr Price's proposal that he should spend the time, while the Observatory is being completed, in visiting various stations to negotiate the scheme.
Dr Doberck is probably by this time cruising around on this mission.
