I shall be glad to be afforded a personal examination before you so that I may more fully explain the circumstances under which the alleged assault occurred.
I feel that I am unable in a written statement to place the matter before you in a sufficiently clear light to make you cognizant of the whole of the facts, which, I fear sure, would in your eyes justify my actions in the matter.
