I am directed by His Excellency the Governor to inform you that you are charged with having on the 19th ultimo, violently assaulted Thuna fai then a prisoner in Victoria Gaol.
This charge rests upon a complaint and report made by the Acting Superintendant of the Gaol, dated the 20th ultimo.
You are now required to answer this charge in writing on or before Monday next, the 4th instant at noon.
