at the time when our said Governor receives these instructions be members of our said Legislative Council, and of such other persons in addition as may from time to time be appointed by us, who shall be called "the Unofficial members". Alter the words Legislative Council, and before the word "Provided", insert these words: -
"Such persons as may be appointed by us to be Unofficial members of our said Legislative Council, shall hold their offices for not more than six years."

At the end of the article, substitute the word "six" for the word "four".
Article 13. Insert between the words "of" and "Colonel" the words:-
"or Major General shall take precedence in Legislative Council next after the person discharging the functions of Chief Justice, and if he be below the rank of Colonel"
