In reply to the Minute of His Excellency the Governor on letter No. 659, dated 13th April from Vice Admiral Sir C. H. Bridges, K.C.B. enclosed in C.O. 882/1913. I have the honour to reply as follows.
The examination of the women is most thorough, even more so than at sea. The forts used at Lei Yue Mun are even more thorough.
