I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your Excellency's letter of the 13th instant.
I need not assure you that I shall always be ready to cooperate, to the utmost of my power and authority, with yourself and with the Major General Commanding, in all measures calculated to promote the health and efficiency of Her Majesty's Naval and Military Forces.
