Statement for the consideration of His Excellency the Governor
1. The present supervision.
The students' ages range from 21 to 30.
are 9 - 4:30 with intervals for recess and dinner at noon.
One Principal and already two of permanent occupation, the seven students have to sleep in an adjoining room.
The other rooms are used as classrooms and office.
The daily school hours are disrupted from 2 by the Principal being able to reside on the premises; he finds a house within 1/2 mile suitable.
A diary is kept by the students recording the hours at which they go to bed, and the names of those being in the outhouses.
There is a vacant room in the Normal school Building for the permanent accommodation for a resident supervisor.
The students are in bed after 9 PM, with other minor details. I have every reason to believe that this is honestly kept.
