19. Shankiwan. The bearch of the force quartered here, is only moderately good. The building is in fairly good condition, though it is of very poor construction originally and has become very dilapidated, though there are no very serious insanitary defects. Proper back and front verandahs are greatly needed to ward off the rays of the sun from the main walls, and it is urgently recommended that this improvement should be carried out as early as possible. Since the establishment of horse patrols on the roads, two troopers have been quartered here.
Police Station at Shankiwan. The Police Authorities pronounce the quarters to be satisfactory.
