6. No. 2 Police Station now on the Glenealy East at the corner of the Wanchai Road. A few minor improvements to the building would be of advantage; and will be undertaken in due course. The health of the inmates reported good. No. 3 Police Station in Queen's Road, East. A very old and rudely constructed one-storeyed building. Somewhat damp in consequence of being in too close juxtaposition to the hill cutting behind it. Is tenanted entirely by Sick Constables who strangely enough, are reported to enjoy very good health, a report that is confirmed by the small number of hospital admissions from this station.
The drainage of the out-offices should be remodelled and the ventilation of the main building...
