Hong Kong with regard to leave of absence & pension

Subject to the exigencies of the service one month's leave on half pay allowed after every six years' residence in the colony. A right to pension is earned after 10 years' service.

A pension is secured to every person who shall have had 10 years' service in the colony, at the rate of 15/68ths of his annual salary. 1/60th is added for every subsequent year; but except on the ground of ill health, no officer is allowed to retire before age 55.
