that the Surveyor General be called upon to submit a report
and detailed estimate of the improvements to the existing sewers, referred to in paragraph 44 of Lord Kimberley's despatch
of the 8th December 1882

The Council advises
postponement of the consideration
of a
new water supply Ordinance,
or of the proposed improvements to the present water-distributing main, until the receipt of further data on this subject
promised
in paragraph 11 of
Lord Kimberley's despatch of
the 8th December, 1882.
