On the present occasion, I
shall confine myself
to a statement
of the general impression made on
My
Mind on
my first visits;
And
impression
sincere, I believe, to that
which would be created on the Minds
of other men, who, like myself,
had great and varied Experience in
Civil Administration in other Colonies.
I shall reserve
for future occasions,
after a longer residence here, my
remarks on details,
and suggestions for improved buildings
and systems.
4. As for the Prison and the
Civil Hospital (including the Lock Hospital adjacent to it.) I am inclined to believe, apart from my own personal
observation.
