respectful consideration of these

facts, and to sum up

as

follows the grounds upon

which I base my

present

application for an increase of salary.

1. That the duties of Registrar proper are numerous, important, and delicate, and have been in many ways increased since a salary

Master.

That the addition of

Nine hundred and sixty dollars made to the salary in lieu of fees is insufficient for the extra duties of Official Assignee, Official Administrator and Registrar of Companies.

That in consequence of the persistent refusal of creditors to appoint assignees, his duties as

Official Assignee have been greatly and unduly increased from what was contemplated and laid down by the Ordinance aforesaid.

That his duties as Official Administrator are delicate, numerous, and responsible.

That the duties of Registrar of Companies have been placed upon him without any extra pay or remuneration.
