It will be seen that the enclosed Address is signed by the principal residents in this Colony of every creed and nationality, and that it assures Mr Marsh their esteem and regard, and their sense of the admirable and effective manner in which he has discharged the duties of his high position.
This address undoubtedly expresses the general feeling of this community; which would be much gratified if the Queen should be graciously pleased to confer on Mr Marsh a mark of Her Majesty's favour and approval.
