2. Bishop Burdon [in 10957/82] was of opinion that the Chaplain's stipend would be safe under the voluntary system; but in regard to the maintenance of the Cathedral fabric [referred to in the Petition] would it not be well to open a correspondence with the War Office, as to their "proper share of ..."
