The usual notice for the sale of the Opium Farm was inserted in the Government Gazette 5th instant last. The notice was forwarded to Macao, Saigon and the Straits Settlements, for insertion in the local Gazette and newspapers. Tenders to be received up till the 18th October last.
On the 18th October, three Tenders were received. The highest was from the present Farmer, who offered the present rate, $1759
