As the negotiations for the building grant have been dealt with in separate letters, I presume that a review of the whole matter would be useful for all parties.

A early commencement of the work was intended to start in January 1884, just when the new building was not yet ready to house the students.

Inform the school of my intention to make a grant. In order to ascertain whether the government would have afforded what proportion, the Reverend Father Borghignoti wrote a letter to the Colonial Secretary on my behalf informing the Government of the appreciated
