how Mr. Creagh is to be replaced when he leaves for Perak. He had studied carefully

the working of the Metropolitan Brigade when last at home and had been able subsequently

to introduce considerable reforms here. Mr. M. & Quinn - who is quite competent to take his place is disqualified owing to his residing out of town.
