The item "furniture: $1000" is not extravagant if understood as school fittings, and the necessary furnishing of the teachers' dwelling quarters which are of the most unexpensive sort; and as such be approved of may under Grant-in-aid 29, 2 and th 427 that from the Educational stands point, the Government may safely entertain for Consideration the question of a Building Grant to St Joseph's College, upon basis of all the items mentioned in the Surveyor General's Report.
