The site of
the College
is in every way
a very desirable one,
and the structure, if it has
been carried out in accordance
with the Contract and
specification which I have
seen, may
be considered a
substantial one in every respect.

The leasehold
of the site was purchased by Bishop Raimondi directly from Messrs Gibb Livingston & Co.
I have examined the lease
and find the tenure is good.
I am unable to state
what proportion of
the College might properly be
considered as
coming within the scope of the grant-in-aid scheme, and I conceive
that such a calculation
comes within the province
of the Inspector of Schools.
